We employ individuals with a variety of musical and non-musical skill sets at Girls Rock Camp Madison.  If you are interested in getting involved in one or more of the positions listed below, please click on the link above to fill out an application.  Qualified applicants will be contacted for interviews.  Below is a description of positions available:

Instrument Instructors – Instrument instructors teach guitar, bass, keyboard, violin, drums or vocals to our campers in a group lesson setting.  Proficiency on your instrument is required, teaching experience preferred.

Band Coaches – Band coaches help campers write a song with their bands to be performed at the showcase at the end of camp.  Experience songwriting/composing in a band setting is required.  It is possible to be both an instrument instructor and a band coach at camp.

Band Managers – Band managers provide campers with guidance on the daily schedule, emotional support when needed and encourage positive collaboration.  No specific music skill is required.  Experience working with children in group settings is preferred.  It is possible to be both a band coach and band manager at camp.

“Breakout Session” Instructors – In addition to our music curriculum, we offer our campers “breakout sessions” on a variety of topics.  Examples include workshops on positive self-image, hip-hop dance, t-shirt design, jewelry making, yoga and more.  If you have a workshop you think would benefit our campers, please apply.

“Girl Power Coach” – Part of our mission is to provide a place where ALL girls rock.  We recognize that many children have special learning/emotional/social needs.  We staff professionals who have expertise in this area in the event that a camper requires some additional support to succeed in the camp setting.
